Biography Vishnu Vāman Shirwādkar Vāman Shirwādkar (27 February 1912-20 March 1999), prominently known by his pseudonym, Kusumāgraj, otherwise called Vi. Vā. Shirwadkar, was a prominent Marathi artist, dramatist, author, short story essayist, aside from being a humanist, who composed of opportunity, equity and liberation of the deprived,[1] In a vocation spreading over five decades beginning in pre-autonomy time, he composed 16 volumes of ballads, three books, eight volumes of short stories, seven volumes of articles, 18 plays and six one-act plays.His works like the Vishakha (1942), an assortment of verses, roused an age into the Indian opportunity development, and is today viewed as one of the perfect works of art of Indian literature,apart from his play, Natsamrat, which has a significant spot in Marathi writing.
